Our Mission

The Indian credit card landscape is complex, fast-moving, and underserved by truly independent analysis. Most review sites in India either copy terms verbatim from issuer websites, accept payment for placement, or are run by people who have never actually held the cards they review.

CardArtha was built to fill that gap. We are an anonymous operation — no real names, no faces, no personal brand. Why anonymous? Because it removes the temptation to accept PR invites, sponsored trips, or paid placements in exchange for favourable coverage. Our only incentive is to be useful.

We hold or have held the cards we review. We cross-check fee schedules against issuer MITC documents, not marketing pages. We update reviews when terms change, and we publish our verification sources on every review page.

Every data point is verified against the issuer's Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) document — the legally binding fee schedule — not the marketing page. We link to the MITC on every review.

Cross-Referencing

We cross-check against at least two independent sources — typically CardExpert, Technofino, or LiveFromALounge — and flag any discrepancies in the review.

Verification Date & Sources Published

Every review shows the date of last verification and links to all sources used. Indian card terms change without notice — we update reviews within days of confirmed changes.

Independence & Disclosure

We earn via affiliate links (disclosed on every page) and Google AdSense. These income sources do not influence our ratings or editorial positions. Cards are scored on objective criteria only — fees, earn rates, redemption value, and real-world usability.
